Bulging batteries?

So one of our 2014 has only 34 hours on it but it started surging bad going up slight inclines and or cutting out etc. This started a year a ago and has gotten worse over time. I took it to the dealer and they discovered that most of the batteries are bulging. Is this a charging issue or what do you guys think?
