Front end suspension "thunk"

Recently while riding in a field over rough terrain I noticed a "thunk" and a "squeak" in the left front suspension. When I got back and put it on the trailer and examined it I found 2 problems. I did all the suspension checks like wiggling the wheels, etc.

1. I had sheared an attachment bolt on the left side wing of my Trail Armor skid plate and it was "flapping". Drilled out and reinstalled. NBD

2. More serious, I found I had lost the nut on the left front A-Arm bushing bolt and the bolt had backed half-way out of the bushing. Had I lost the bolt in the field it would have been a PITA if not disastrous. Pounded the bolt back in and added a new nut.

I then checked all the nut torques on the other A-Arm bushing bolts....they were all tight.

Note: I have a 2" High Lifter Signature Series Lift Kit and Pro Series forward A-Arms with Delran Bushings. These were installed over 4 years ago with no problems since.
