2011 EV - Charged - Died- No Trbl Lights

Have a 2011 EV with 52 hours on it in good condition. Performed 100% charge and drove about 3/4 mile, starting smelling a petroleum based odor for about 3 min. Suddenly 100% loss of power with NO trouble/malfunction light indicators.
Any idea where to start looking for cause?
