6 - 8 volt battery wiring

I need to temporarily run my EV on 6 - 8 volt batteries from my golf cart. I thought I saw a post on here some months ago on how to do that. Have searched for hours and cannot find it.
Can someone point me in the right direction or show me how to do this?
